John Glaze , Founder & President

John is the Founder and President of Fast Track Specialties, LP He has more than 25 years experience in building specialties. John is a results-oriented, hands-on professional specializing in architectural building products for commercial interiors, healthcare, educational, and hospitality construction. As such, he takes seriously the trust that his employees, vendors, and customers put in his leadership to be better than the rest, to complete jobs and not complicate them, and to build solid long time relationships one customer at a time.

John’s expertise in project management, combined with his years of experience, has enabled him to formulate a proven process specifically designed to ensure that the final product is an accurate reflection of what was initially envisioned. His track record is enviable throughout the construction industry for his ability to anticipate any issues in advance of construction, which has led to a verifiable record for the successful completion of numerous multi-million dollar projects. Likewise, John is well versed in contract negotiations, project estimating, job scheduling, purchasing, safety and quality control. It is because of his vast experience and knowledge, that John is known industry wide for his proven ability to perform and, in doing so, has developed and maintained a positive rapport with a wide variety of contractors, architects, owners and suppliers.   John’s personal focus since 2008 is to bring a better approach to safety called Approachable Safety.   John has assumed the role of Chief of Safety for the company and has been diligently focused on improving safety not only within the company but also for the industry.

During and after he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, John has worked as a Radio DJ, a furniture salesperson and then for a short stint with a family business which pushed John off to work in the Building Construction field. John has his OSHA 30 Hour Certification as part of his personal and professional commitment to safety and to further incorporate that into the culture of Fast Track Specialties, LP.

A native Texan who was raised in the Houston area, John and his two children are active members of Faithbridge UMC in Spring, Texas.  John currently serves on the Board of Directors for two organizations.  John serves as Vice President of Building New Foundations, a non-profit that is focused on building a new campus for The Good Shepherd RTC (a boy’s home) and John serves on the Board of Directors of the Houston Chapter of the American Subcontractor Association.

John also is a lifetime member of the Houston 100 Club, SFA Alumni Association, CCA – Coastal Conservation Society, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo lifetime member and a member of the UH College of Technology Dean’s Leadership Society. In spite of his busy schedule, John still makes time for his family, hunting, skiing, fishing and traveling, and his most recent hobby, golf.

John’s greatest professional achievement was in 2015 when Fast Track Specialties, LP signed into a partnership with OSHA via the ABC and the OSHA Strategic Partnership Program a testament to the hard work over the past seven years to change a culture completely.

Jennifer Whiting, Fast Track Specialties, LP Team

Jennifer Whiting, Vice President

Jennifer was appointed vice president in 2006 and is also a member of the board of directors. Prior to this appointment, she was the corporate controller for four years. She is currently responsible for developing the companies operating profit, cash flow, and capital spending plans as well as the external and internal financial reporting. She also oversees and coordinates high profile projects, specializing in complex architectural building specialties.

Prior to joining Fast Track Specialties, Jennifer spent several years with a General Contractor specializing in commercial interiors, where she obtained a vast knowledge of construction industry experience including estimating, project management, AIA documentation, EEOC compliance, JOC records, and HUB subcontracting plans.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business with a specialization in Accounting. She holds the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Interior Design + Construction (LEED AP ID+C) accreditation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30 and First Aid and CPR certifications. She also serves the community as a board member for two charitable organizations.

Clinton Forsyth, Fast Track Specialties, LP Team

Clinton Forsyth, Director of Operations and Safety

Clinton oversees the daily operations of the field teams, manages quality control, and supervises our safety strategies. Clinton joined the Fast Track Specialties team in 2011. Prior to joining the team, Clinton had thirty-four years of experience in commercial construction with various Commercial General Contractors. Clinton currently holds an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 500, OSHA 510 and is a certified as a OSHA Outreach Trainer, First AID and CPR “train-the-trainer” and TAS certified ADA Specialist.

Clinton is very active with various industry associations. He is a safety committee chairman of American Subcontractors Association (ASA) and Construction Safety Network and works with the Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. (ABC) and Construction Career Collaborative (C3) safety committees. He also serves on the advisory board for OSHA Fall Prevention Houston Chapter.

Brian Warren, Fast Track Specialties Team Member

Brian Warren, Materials Management Manager

Brian supervises the material supply chain division. He implements the strategic direction and organizes the execution of distribution. Brian joined Fast Track Specialties in 2011. Prior to his joining our team, he spent 20 years with a Fortune 500 Company at which time he moved from Memphis, TN to Houston, TX.

Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from University of Memphis. He currently holds the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30 and First Aid and CPR certifications.

Julie Ruby, Fast Track Specialties, LP Team

Julie Ruby, Sales Manager

Julie's responsibilities include managing and training the project management team, coordination of the estimating staff, and assisting with comprehensive marketing strategies. Prior to this position, Julie assisted with field operations scheduling, project coordination and project management.

Before joining Fast Track Specialties in May of 2004, Julie worked for a property management firm for 11 years and gained experience and proficiency in customer relations and management.

Julie holds a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Interior Design + Construction (LEED AP ID+C) accreditation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30, and First Aid and CPR certifications. She also completed the “Project Management in Construction Industry” training and the “Leadership Course” through the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), along with various manufacturer training classes. Julie currently serves alongside a collective and eager charitable organization that seeks to find a cure for cancer and assist with patient needs. She is also actively involved in her local church in Magnolia, TX serving in the Youth Department.

September Pinon-Teria, Fast Track Specialties, LP Team

September Pinon-Teria, Senior Project Manager

September is responsible for the development and management of various high profile projects from estimating to completion. She manages the procurement, scheduling, and profit and loss analysis of her projects. She is also responsible for her project team through training by identifying means to better improve their skills, organization, and overall project completion.  She is also known as “Yoda” around the office.   

September first joined the team in 2009 as a project assistant and has worked her way up to Senior Project Manager. Before joining Fast Track Specialties, September worked in the hospitality industry where her skills of customer service and leadership would take her from Guam and to Houston, TX. She has 15 years of experience in the customer service industry. 

September currently holds a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Interior Design + Construction (LEED AP ID+C) accreditation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30, and has gained skills and knowledge through training opportunities of various vendor suppliers including Mechoshade, Raynor Doors, Privada and Thrislington Cubicles.  

September works hard but also plays hard, when not at work you often find her travelling to different parts of world with her husband and two teenage boys.

Alfonso Ulloa, Project Engineer

Alfonso joined the Fast Track Specialties team in May of 2018, just before we moved to our brand-new building. Alfonso’s responsibilities include estimating, project management, procurement, coordination and execution of construction projects.

Before joining Fast Track Specialties, Alfonso spent several years in the residential construction business, environmental engineering projects and was a business owner in the Houston Area, developing great customer service skills.

Alfonso graduated with a bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering from UNAM, Mexico City, where he gained years of experience in residential and commercial construction. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is an active member of his Church, involved in several community services.

Annie Pham, Project Engineer

Annie’s responsibilities consist of project management, estimating, procurement, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may arise during installation, advising/coordinating with field operations to complete installations, and cultivating relationships with our customers.

Prior to joining Fast Track Specialties, Annie worked with Willdan Energy Solutions. She managed energy efficiency projects and provided turn-key solutions, including lighting, HVAC, and other energy efficiency technologies for the lodging and healthcare industry, small businesses, schools, the US National Guard, and 28 Wells Fargo locations throughout California.

Annie graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science and two Bachelor of Science degrees. She is currently First Aid, CPR, AED, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30 certified.

Justin Staggs, Project Engineer

Justin has been a part of Fast Track Specialties since May of 2018.  His current responsibilities include estimating, bid submittal, and project management.  He has a wide range of experience in his background, from law enforcement to sales and project management.  Justin has obtained his Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30, along with being CPR certified.

Most recently prior to working at Fast Track, Justin was a Project Manager / Office Manager for a small paving company.  His responsibilities included estimating, bidding, execution of the job, safety and billing.  Justin is more than happy to assist with any questions or needs that you have.

Tim Hart, Project Engineer

Tim joined the Project Team after learning the "nuts and bolts" of Fast Track in the material supply chain division under the supervision of Brian Warren. Tim took to training and direct management with the commitment and passion he applies to all areas of his life.  He is now managing jobs from estimation to final project completion. He uses his strong communication and problem solving skills to help ensure the project, teams, installers, and contractors’ success is everyone's success.

Prior to joining Fast Track, Tim was a technician with Baxter Bioscience and Pepsico in their manufacturing division.  There he was responsible for following GDP/GMP guidelines as well as OSHA standards and procedures on the equipment and machines.

Born and raised in Southern California, Tim did his studies at California State University Dominguez Hills in Southern California.  Tim and his family relocated to Texas in 2017 and have enjoyed every minute of it. When not at work, Tim's life revolves around his family, Faithbridge Church and the Cowboys, not necessarily in that order.

Ryan Bell, Project Engineer

Ryan’s responsibilities include assisting Project Management with estimating, procurement, and job submittals to assure successful and timely project completion.  He also oversees the Will Call and Shipping Departments.

Prior to Ryan joining the Fast Track team in January 2018, he worked 10+ years as a manufacturer’s representative for Bobrick Washroom Accessories and Toilet Compartments.  He graduated from the Houston Art Institute with a degree in Graphic Design.  He owned his own company for 7 years doing graphic design and signage for the Houston Astros, YMCA, and various commercial industries.  He enjoys camping and traveling with the Boy Scouts of America, and spending time with his son and daughter.

William (Butch) Nesmith, Project Manager

Butch brings more than 32 years of experience in commercial construction expertise in healthcare, mission critical labs, high end office interiors, industrial, financial, education, hospitality, and parking garage projects. He is a seasoned and insightful construction project manager who can expertly communicate and contribute to providing estimates, direction in scheduling, and installation of various product lines Fast Track offers that lead to successful projects. Butch is experienced is contract negotiations, managing team members, and working with clients in understanding what it takes to complete a successful project. He takes a hands on approach to every project and is well experienced in problem solving resolution to keep projects on track while working with various contractors and clients. 

Butch earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree for Texas A&M University in Construction Science. One of the key parts of Fasttrack’s mission statement and company culture is to give back and pay it forward. Butch, not only participates thru church and social organizations, but is also the sponsor of the William Nesmith Sr. Endowed Scholarship at Texas A&M University established in 2000 in honor of his father to help Construction Science students continue forward with a career in construction. He has obtained his Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30 certification and is committed to being part of a safety culture that benefits everyone. He been an active member since it inception of the Texas A&M Construction Industry Advisory Council (CIAC) where he works directly with the Construction Science Department in shaping the program to help students stay on the cutting edge of construction trends in preparation for their careers in construction.

Christopher Samano, Project Manager

As a project manager and member of the sales team, Chris is responsible for several ongoing jobs.  With focuses on bidding, planning, scheduling, and project management, Chris ensures a successful finished product.

Before joining Fast Track Specialties in 2018, Chris spent several years in division 10 Specialties as a Project manager then, Operation manager. In May 2020 he will complete a leadership development course through the Houston Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors which has taught skills in team building, communication, presentations, negotiations, marketing, and problem solving. Chris has also obtained his Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30, First Aid and CPR training.

Jamie Snook, Project Manager

Jamie is a dedicated project manager, knowledgeable, communicates effectively and driven to meet tight deadlines with high client expectations.

Prior to joining Fast Track Specialties in September 2019, he had more than 25 years of project management experience in commercial and industrial construction projects; ranging in high-rise interiors, healthcare, government, education, military, parking garages, hospitality, museums and custom applications.  

Jamie is a United States Marine Corps veteran with 8 years of service.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F Austin State University.  Jamie currently holds certifications in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30, Basic Safety Plus, First Aid, CPR and a TWIC Card.

He is a State of Texas Registered Beekeeper and currently serves as Vice President of the Montgomery County Beekeepers Association.

Audree Garcia, Assistant Project Manager

Audree is responsible for the planning, procurement, and execution of construction projects. Audree also contributes to the sales team as an estimator and marketing team member.

Before joining Fast Track Specialties in 2014, Audree owned and operated a photography business and was the marketing coordinator at Flintlock/Faroy & Espirit. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University. Audree completed the “Leadership Forum” class taught by Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. (ABC). She is learning the tools necessary to succeed as a leader in our industry. Audree completed her First Aid, CPR training, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30 certification.

Casey Kamerbeek, A&D Sales Representative

Casey joined Fast Track in September 2018 as the new architecture and design sales representative.  Specializing in Thrislington Cubicles, she meets with architects, designers, and contractors around the city to do presentations about the European style restroom partitions.  She also runs projects, manages marketing, and provides customer service.  Casey has earned her OSHA 30 and CPR certifications since starting with Fast Track. 

A Houston native, Casey graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Management along with an international business certificate and history minor.  Before coming to Fast Track, she worked in other aspects of construction including onsite for a custom homebuilder here in Houston and as a manager of a floorcovering store in Corpus Christi, Texas.  

Roman Compean, Fast Track Specialties, LP Team Member

Roman Compean, Estimating Assistant

Roman’s responsibilities include evaluating construction documents, obtaining materials costs analysis, and organizing labor and material costs to prepare bid proposal packages.

Roman joined Fast Track Specialties in 2015 as an intern from the University of Houston, Construction Management Program. During his time at U of H, he aided as an Auto Cad Designer for the university campus map design. Upon his graduation in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management degree, Roman joined Fast Track Specialties full time. Roman has also obtained his Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30 certification and CPR certification.  Alfonso is also fluent in Spanish.

Robin Wilder, Project Coordinator

Robin brings a wide array of business experience to our organization.  As our project coordinator she is responsible for a variety of programs including preparing the monthly billings closeouts with the Project Manager, keeping current the Certificate of insurance, and validating the certified payroll.

Her expertise in customer service, accounting, and administration has provided great value to our organization.  Robin is a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) with 30 years of administrative experience.
